JC delivers what they promise. We were on an RCL cruise and prefer not to use any ship's excursions in safe ports. Too slow, too much shopping, and 2x the price. Our comfy air conditioned van, driver K. Kang, and K. Toon our charming guide, were waiting for us at the end of the tender boat gangway.
Thought the monkey stop would be commonplace, but pleasantly surprised. Small temple with gold reclining Buddha is worth a quick photo or two. The highlight was the long boat to the islands. James Bond is very touristy but scenic. Lunch buffet at the fishing village island was not impresive, so instead we ordered off the menu. The best stop was canoeing with a guide through the limestone tunnels. Very scenic, but with ceilings so low you have to lay on your back to avoid hitting your head. Makes for funny pictures and memories. Entire tour was from 9am to 5pm.
K. Toon traveled everywhere with us except the canoe. Very grateful because she explained the cultural and historical aspects, helped with translation, and used our cameras to shoot us instead of us doing dorky selfies.
Note: Unusual that JC asked to deposit 50% of the tour price in advance in cash/wire transfer. However, JC is a registered Thai operator, and provides a registered government tax receipt upon deposit if asked. Other email communications were clear and prompt.
